The Homeless Ones

We were really grateful that two new volunteers joined us for our night distribution this time.We hope they can join us more often in the future. We did not manage to find two of our usual clients in section 14 PJ McDonalds and PJ state. We also did not manage to find as many clients as we previously did in Old Town Pj area. However we manage to bump into a new client which was searching for food among the piles of rubbish at a junction near the Old Town bus station. 

For the first time, we distributed food at the open park located close to Bangkok Bank KL. We manage to distribute about 20 packets of food at the park but the pictures taken were not as clear since the surrounding was dark. From the park, we moved to Petaling Street while distributing more food along the way when ever we spot any clients. 

A total of 35 packets of food were distributed that night and each packet included 1 packet of vegetarian fried rice with hard-boiled egg in sweet and sour sauce, 1 mandarin orange since Chinese New Year is just around the corner, and 1 bottle of drinking water. We hope to increase the amount of food to be distributed in the future since we spotted more clients but we were out of food and since there were only four of us this time, we felt the need for more volunteers to ensure the safety of everyone.
